The National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Chennai is a premier technical and vocational training center located in Guindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Operated under the Directorate General of Training, it plays a key role in developing industrial and instructor-level skills for India’s workforce. Established in 1968 with support from United Nations Development Programme and International Labour Organization, NSTI Chennai is recognized as a Centre of Excellence for vocational instructor training in the production and manufacturing sectors.
